Immersive Ayurvedic Retreat

The proposed 15-acre Ayurvedic retreat in Coimbatore is envisioned as a healing landscape rather than a built object—where architecture dissolves into nature and wellness is experienced through space, light, water, and materiality.

Rooted in Ayurvedic philosophy, the retreat fosters balance between body, mind, and environment, allowing guests to slow down, reconnect, and heal in harmony with the land.

Each villa is a private sanctuary—designed as a complete microcosm for rest and healing. Living and sleeping spaces flow seamlessly into a luxurious bath and dressing area, all crafted using natural materials that ground the senses.

Villas open onto private decks and gardens, creating a quiet indoor–outdoor experience immersed in nature. Groups of villas are clustered around serene lily ponds with natural filtration systems, forming self-sustaining pods that enhance privacy, comfort, and ecological balance.

Set within the lush landscape of Coimbatore, the villas offer a deeply personal retreat—where architecture, water, and greenery come together to support wellbeing.

The dining hall is conceived as a generous, open space that brings the retreat together. It is subtly divided into three distinct dining zones—each catering to a specific Ayurvedic diet—without the use of physical walls.

Low-height water bodies define these spaces, flowing seamlessly into a larger lily pond outside, reinforcing continuity between interior and landscape. Overhead, the roof form gently shifts to mark each zone, using light, height, and structure to create distinction while maintaining openness.

The result is a calm, inclusive space where food, architecture, and nature come together as part of the healing experience.
